Santa makes a special visit to Garston Masonic Hall

On Saturday 15th December, Santa Clause made a surprise visit to Garston Masonic Hall where some
children were enjoying a Christmas Party. He magically appeared from nowhere much to the surprise and
delight of all the children.  Luckily, there were two of his little helpers to hand, Carol and Karen.

Every child received a present from Santa via mums and dads and also another one provided anonymously
and the children were very delighted and happy that Santa was so generous.

 Karen, Principal little helper.

Santa was very ably assisted by W. Bro. Jack Parker who added a few pounds for the occasion. He is now
on a diet prior to Christmas lunch. Very many thanks go to Jack for his superb acting role.

Many thanks go to Peter and Sue Barker who provided nourishment for the children and the adults
accompanying them without any charge. A very generous and welcome offer.

Every boy and girl had their photographs taken with Santa and Karen will see that they are available to the
parents and grandparents.

Musical entertainment was provided by the lovely Sarah Lowe, our resident lovely young entertainer at
Garston and many other Masonic venues. She is a very popular young singer among the Masonic socials.
Again her fees were waived for the occasion. Many thanks Sarah and Mum Janet.

This event was very well received and all provided free of charge except for the bar takings which were
swelled significantly!

Santa has promised to visit Garston again next year and I’m sure everyone,
especially the children will be delighted.

Thanks to all the children for being so very well behaved. They were all a credit to their mums and dads.
